solidly funny. Transgendered Comedian, Ian Harvie is at the helm
of this unique talk show, brandishing his wit and humanity,
charming guests into intimate and humorous dialogs.
Ian has the exterior of a woman but at a first glance looks like
a man. And that’s how he feels on the inside, like a man. He’s
not hard to look at and through his keen humor and observations;
you quickly see what he sees. He’s experienced life through the
many sides of sex, gender, and orientation; providing the show
with original, sincere fodder for: opening monologues;
conversations with guests; writing and filming GLBTQA-related
sketches; and capturing on-the-street interviews.
There are the usual suspects too. Ian’s quirky, next-gen-queen,
and co-host, Edison Apple adds the right helping of spicy humor
to the mix. Edison’s on-target commentary and random remarks
will keep you leaning in on your elbows for seconds, while Ian,
(at times) lassoes his co-host back into reality.
There’s an ongoing and amusing befuddlement of guests on the
show about what pronoun they should use when referring to their
host. Ian’s candor is energizing and he never shies away from
opportunities to get vulnerable with his guests and audience.
The Ian Harvie Show welcomes an ALL GLBTQA cast and guests to
the program. The show provides something that has never been
available on television before – a proper outlet for GLBTQA
artists and talent to speak openly about their lives regarding
topics that affect entire community and the rest of the world.
